This guide for AI tipps and tricks is written during my own journey to getting to know AI – Programms. The structure will be based on the what the AI does. I am documenting learnings and appreciate your impulses in the comment section!

Promting
Prompting is difficult – It forces us to precisely formulate what we want – Let me help!
Discord Newbie Channel
After joining the discord, check out the newbie channels – Look at the promts other people use to get a cool outcome – Pay attention to the specific words they use such as “Photorealistic” “Manga Style” and so on.
Get a idea of what the AI thinks certain words are by prompting them alone – For Example I wanted a Code – Environment in the background and with trial and error I found the word “Programming Language” which gave me the outcome. Build more complicated promts by adding bits of sentances to that.
Describe Function
1. Define what you want
2. Find a reference Image in the Internet
3. Use the “/describe” function to upload the reference image to discord
4. Look at the promts Midjourney gives you and adjust them to what you want

General Style
1. Rendering: Check out different Render Options here
2. Add “…”-Core to your images such as weirdcore or cottagecore to get that general vibe for your image
3. Describe colours such as “vivid”, “cold”, “surreal” etc.
4.Learn about artists such as Pablo Picasse to achieve similiar styles to what makes their art unique.
Parameters
Parameters are specifications to add at the end of your prompt and always start with “–” (A double minus)
Common Parameters are –V 5.1 to use this version of Midjourney, –ar 16:9 to create a landscape image and –s 750 to stylize the picture.
